[04]How to become a BOILTE National Manufacturing Partner

How to become a nationalmanufacturing partnerBOILTE

From the first application to authorized BOILTE manufacturing

The right to manufacture equipment is not granted only because a contract is signed or the Launch Fee is paid. The company passes commercial and technical qualification, production preparation and a BOILTE Pilot Product.

The first two steps
APPLICATION - FREE. PRELIMINARY QUALIFICATION - FREE.
Start qualification
[01]The route

The whole path at a glance

Ten stages from the first contact to the growth of the product range.
Step 1→

Application

BOILTE receives basic information about the company, country, plant, manufacturing experience, equipment, welding, market and service potential.

Cost: FREE
Step 2→

Preliminary Qualification

A remote first review of the company profile, photos and video, equipment, experience, welding, QA/QC, certificates, references and market opportunity.

Cost: FREE
Step 3→

Partnership & Country Discussion

Country, Initial Product Platform, Initial Manufacturing Scope, market opportunity, commercial model and plant readiness are defined.

Royalty guidance and the Business Plan
Step 4→

Partnership Agreement & Factory Launch

The parties sign the Partnership Agreement and start the production-preparation programme.

Step 5→

BOILTE Factory Assessment

Review of manufacturing, welding, quality, materials and the supply chain, the engineering interface, finance, service, document control and IP.

Approved / Conditionally approved / Not approved
Step 6→

Factory Development

If approval is conditional, BOILTE sets corrective actions: welder qualification, WPS/PQR/WPQR, traceability, equipment upgrades, a test area, an NDT provider, QA/QC, document flow, calibration and training.

Only if required
Step 7→

BOILTE Pilot Product

The first unit is built under closer control: from documentation and materials through testing, QA/QC records and release readiness.

Proof of real capability
Step 8→

BOILTE Manufacturing Authorization

After a successful Pilot Product and the close of mandatory actions, BOILTE may grant manufacturing authorization.

Company + Facility + Platform + Scope
Step 9→

National Market Launch

BOILTE in the country: local sales, customer enquiries, the national digital presence, marketing, production orders, installation, commissioning, service and the installed base.

[03]The agreement

What the Partnership Agreement fixes

On steps three and four the country terms and the manufacturing boundary are set.
  • country
  • Initial Product Platform
  • Manufacturing Scope
  • commercial terms
  • royalty
  • Minimum Annual Royalty
  • Business Plan
  • rules for BOILTE Technical Documentation
  • protection of BOILTE IP
  • territorial rights
  • quality requirements
  • rules for expanding a Product Platform
  • grounds for reviewing exclusivity

Public base terms of this stage: Technology & Factory Launch — ⁦⁦FROM ⁦$20,000⁩*⁩⁩, Licensed Manufacturing Royalty — ⁦⁦3–5%*⁩⁩, Minimum Annual Royalty — ⁦⁦FROM ⁦$5,000⁩ / YEAR*⁩⁩ from full Contract Year ⁦2⁩ after Manufacturing Authorization, Additional Product Platform — ⁦⁦FROM ⁦$7,500⁩*⁩⁩.

* The conditions shown are the standard base terms of the BOILTE National Manufacturing Partnership. Final commercial terms may depend on the country, the BOILTE Product Platform, the approved Manufacturing Scope, plant readiness, the engineering preparation required, local certification requirements, market size, expected volume and the agreed territorial rights. Final terms are fixed in the Partnership Agreement before the relevant stage. External certification, laboratory testing, required plant equipment, tooling, travel and third-party regulatory procedures are not included unless the Partnership Agreement expressly says so.

[04]Plant review

Assessment, development and the pilot unit

Three steps that confirm a real ability to work inside the BOILTE system.
What the Pilot Product checks
  1. Technical Documentation
  2. Materials & Traceability
  3. Cutting & Forming
  4. Welding
  5. Inspection & NDT
  6. Pressure Testing
  7. QA/QC Records
  8. Final Product Review
  9. Product Release Readiness
Manufacturing Authorization is granted for the combination
COMPANY + MANUFACTURING FACILITY + BOILTE PRODUCT PLATFORM + APPROVED MANUFACTURING SCOPE

Manufacturing Authorization does not automatically mean the right to manufacture the whole BOILTE range. Expanding the Manufacturing Scope is a separate step, after confirmed technical and commercial milestones.

Manufacturing requirements
[05]After authorization

National status and growth

Manufacturing Authorization confirms the ability to manufacture. National status confirms the ability to develop the market.
Product & Market Development
  1. Initial Product Platform
  2. Proven Production Quality
  3. Commercial Performance
  4. Business Plan Achievement
  5. Additional Product Platform
  6. Expanded Manufacturing Scope

National Manufacturing Partner Status also means the ability to develop the market, meet the Business Plan and the Minimum Annual Royalty, serve customers, maintain service capability and follow BOILTE standards. Exclusive status is not bought automatically by paying the Launch Fee, signing the agreement, passing Factory Assessment or releasing one Pilot Product.

How long the process takes

A single public duration is not published. It depends on plant readiness, the Product Platform, the gaps found, welding-procedure qualification, local certification, equipment upgrades and how fast the Factory Development Plan is carried out.
